The Flora of Central Africa

The front cover of a volume of the flora

The Flore d'Afrique centrale is a tool providing information on and assisting in the identification of Central African vascular plants. The region comprises the countries Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda and Burundi (see map) which is estimated to hold around 11,000 vascular plant species. Fascicles are produced for each family in three series, one on seed plants (série Spermatophyta), one on ferns and fern-allies (série Pteridophyta) and one on mosses (incl. liverworts and hornworts) (série Bryophyta).
